Paper testing can be categorised into different types of tests as shown below.
Before carrying out testing, it is most important to 'condition' the paper first. Conditioning means letting the moisture in the air and the moisture in the paper come to an equilibrium. This is usually done by letting the paper rest for 24 hours, in air at 23 C and 50% relative humidity, (RH).
